✨ BLOG UPDATE ✨ As you probably know - I kick ✨ BLOG UPDATE ✨ As you probably know - I kicked off a community guided Challenge of getting a blog up and running. 💪🏼 ☕️🫶🏼 The idea was basically that I wanted to take another brand to a blog and monetize it ☕️ In talking to you all about it, lots of you wanted accountability buddies to work ok your blogs/brands too! 🤍 So I created a few templates, a workbook and suddenly it made more sense to go ahead with Penny on Fire to use as an example If you’ve bought my workbook you know about the exact steps to take, to get your blog monetized ✨💪🏼 I followed all my own tasks (still working on the last few blogposts to complete it!) aaaaand the blog is MONETIZED 🥳🥹🫶🏼 I MADE IT! And best of all - proved my own workbook concept as well 🙌🏼🤍 I’m Google adsense approved, I’m approved for an affiliate Network (and currently 1 program within that) and I have launched 1 digital product! 🥳✨🤩 In all honesty, I did have to technically launch the blog before the official Challenge start, in order to have the workbook ready for you guys to use as well, but they are the same steps 🥰🤍 YAY! 🙌🏼✨ Final day of the Challenge tomorrow and just a handful of tasks to Pick up on! 💪🏼 #hustlersblogchallenge #blogginglife #bloggingcommunity #monetizedchannel #monetized #monetizedblog #financialeducation #financialjourney #bloggingjourney #googleadsenseapproved #affiliatepartnership #digitalproducts
Family and FIRE ☕️🤍 Honestly, being single Family and FIRE ☕️🤍 Honestly, being single, no kids and with a fulltime income, i would probably already be Miles ahead of where I am now. But I have a Lovely little family that I want to reach FIRE with and share memories and time and experiences 🤍🌱🥂 But that takes conversations. There are many talks to be had when you’re in a committed relationship and finances and values are important. For me it’s necessary for us to keep updating each other on our goals, dreams and values. Because they also change over time, making our perspectives shift too. Making money moves together as a family, has meant a stronger family Unit for us. 💰 I have been very clear in communicating (with love) about how I feel about spending money in certain areas. 💰 My partner and I agree on how to split our bills and savings 💰 We both agree that time is more important to ud than earnings although none of us wish to become a House-spouse 💰 We discuss shared expenses before making bigger purchases 💰 We regularly talk about our sinking funds and savings, making sure they’re still relevant 💰 We make space for errors Moving to a new place, buying a car, buying furniture, signing up for loans, insurance, new job situation etc are all things that affect the both of us, so We need to be in the same page about this 🤍💪🏼✨ #moneytalks #financialfreedom #firecommunity #økonomiskfrihed #økonomiskuafhængig #familyfire #movingforward #keepmoving #budgeting #budgetfamily #debtfreecommunity #debtfreejourney #firewithafamily
SINKING FUNDS 💰 I love sinking funds and have SINKING FUNDS 💰 I love sinking funds and have really had them since I was a kid and had 5 different piggybanks with each their specific purpose 🤭💰👀 So I am thrilled to have (over time) talked my partner into creating shared sinking funds aside from our shared budget account where our regular expenses are taken from. We have had quite a few money talks, uncovering our shared and individual values. It’s resulted in a number of sinking funds. 🌱🤩 Over time these will grow to help us offset costs of doing things we ✨actually✨ want to do but would otherwise claim to not have the money for. I’ve learnt that if I/we don’t assign the money a purpose, they are more easily just thrown away on unnecessary expenses. Networth Update! A little Late to the party this Networth Update! A little Late to the party this time but here’s a view of my Numbers Per april 1st 💰🌱 In dollars, I’m up from last month but in my own currency I’m actually Down a bit. Money is a weird construct so i dont really know how to talk about this today haha 😂👀 I’m a little sad that its Down but it could be Way more since We just moved and had s bunch of extra costs to take Care of. I’m ready to hit my next milestone (again) though as it feels like I’m just bopping up and Down the same level. Nothing major happened this past month finance wise, as We already paid for most of the move. Hows your networth journey looking? We have officially moved! We are currently settlin We have officially moved! We are currently settling into our new home (smaller apartment in Higher COL city) 🥳🏡 And I wanted to sum up some of the key numbers of this whole moving process to give you all an idea of how much it cost us as well as insight into what We have made from Selling some of our items. I am constantly inspired by other content creators such as @messy.money.mama and such decluttering/minimalism content and thus it made total sense for us to try and sell a bunch of our stuff. Especially since We are downsizing and half our furniture wouldn’t fit in the new place. All in all, moving was a Big expense at no surprise really, but We did manage to make some good amounts on Selling off different item - check the slides for a breakdown ☕️💸💰 I Will say, that every Penny spent on hiring someone to help move our stuff was well Worth it!
